Ann Arbor Modern Quilt Guild

So I was finally able to make it to an Ann Arbor  Modern Quilt Guild meeting, and it was awesome that it was outside (because we were locked out). I got to meet some wonderful ladies and see some amazing quilts. There was quite a debate about the concept of derivative and what it means for showing in quilt shows. I got to show off a few UFO projects which became finished this weekend, one of which Jody needed because it was chilly outside.

The most exciting part of the meeting was the exchanging of bags for the Secret Stalker Swap.  Now normally I don't like the idea of stalkers, but this seems like SO MUCH FUN!  I threw some halloween fabric in and some other random stuff, but I am just excited to be part of my first swap.  now to being my own stalking!
